Carb Cycling Day Seventeen – Carb Day

I’ve decided to give my body two carb days in a row to see if it will help aid in recovery process because lord knows I AM DYING.I am trying my best to listen to my body and give it what it needs.

Fasted Cardio – 1 hour of interval hills at 3.2

Breakfast: Apple Pie Questbar with 1 TBSP Almond Butter

Breakfast 2: Quinoa Oatmeal with Reduced Sugar Craisins, Almonds, Honey. Recipe from Thug Kitchen

Lunch: Protein Pancake: Musclepharm Cookies n Cream, 1/2 cup of egg whites, topped with raspberries and almond butter

Lunch 2: Spicy Black Bean Burger & 1 Whole Egg & 3 TBSP Egg Whites

Dinner: Salmon Burger, Spinach, Almonds, Zoodles

Snack: Whey Protein with Almond Milk (3 Lindt Truffles I got as a sample from Costco)

Calories: 1957
Fat: 85g
Carbs: 161g
Protein: 164g


Workout: Back Etc.

Chin Ups
3 x 10

Cable Rows, One Arm Dumbbell Rows, Bent Over Barbell Rows
4 x 10-15 reps

Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns
3 x 10-20 reps

Barbell Deadlifts
5 x 10-12 reps

2 x 15 with plate

Cable Pec Flyes
4 x 15

Stepmill: 15 minutes
