Beyond Meat, “Grilled Chicken Strips” Review

Bikini Rating Scale (1-5):Β πŸ‘™πŸ‘™πŸ‘™πŸ‘™

Considering I haven’t eaten chicken in close to four or five years, I may not be the best judge of taste or texture, but for me these were pretty damn good. They have become a staple in my kitchen since learning of their existence through a vegan bodybuilding forum on Facebook. The texture is reminiscent of a Purdue chicken strips but I find it to be much more satisfying because it is cruelty-free. Even my bodybuilder boyfriend (a straight carnivore mind you) came around and bought a pack to try out and he gave them the thumbs up of approval. He said they reheat better than regular chicken and they don’t have the nasty dry after taste boiled/grilled chicken can have after cooking it twice.

Pros: Cruelty-free. Meaty Texture. Reheats Well. Tastes great on wraps, pasta, zoodles, and plain out of the box. Less than $1 per serving for 20g of protein.

Cons:Β Honestly, there aren’t too many cons with this other than it is made with soybeans for the protein content. Personally, I am fine with soy consumption as long as it is non-GMO and doesn’t taste like poo.

Overall: A staple in my kitchen.Β πŸ‘™πŸ‘™πŸ‘™πŸ‘™ 4 Bikinis 4 U.
